Candidates for these awards should be under 12 on 1st September of their year of entry into Year 7.

Candidates will take the normal 11 + entrance examination papers in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning and those obtaining the best results will be recommended to the Headmaster for a scholarship.

This examination takes place in early January.

Students already at Ratcliffe College, who qualify by age, may enter for the awards as internal candidates.

These scholarships are reviewed annually and, provided good scholastic and discipline standards are maintained, will remain with the student throughout his or her school career.

Dates and copies of past papers may be obtained from the Registrar. Entries should be received by 1st December.

Candidates for these awards must be over the age of 11.

The examination will involve a practical audition and an interview with the Director of Music.

Examinations and interviews will take place in March.
Entries must be received by 1st December.
