Ratcliffe College has a dedicated Early Years building within our beautiful 200 acre site in rural Leicestershire. Here, children really feel part of our community as they benefit from the amazing facilities of our Preparatory school and wider college. We are extremely proud of our Early Years provision, providing a stimulating child-centred environment, where your child has the opportunity to flourish within a warm, caring and secure atmosphere.
The Ratcliffe experience
We are not just like any other Nursery, we guarantee age-appropriate contact, so each child has their specific needs met. We also offer progression through to our Preparatory School and further to Year Seven in our Senior School. This consistency provides an excellent experience for the child and peace of mind for you, the Parent.

We’re extremely proud of the quality of our teaching and learning, with a host of experienced and highly qualified staff on our team. Our staff are dedicated to nurturing the capability and creativity within every individual. Our small class sizes also mean each child gets the intimate support and encouragement they need.
Our reputation
Due to our excellent reputation, most years hold a waiting list of families looking to provide their child with the Ratcliffe experience. We have recently launched a brand new reception class to deal with this demand, whilst at the same time guaranteeing the quality of experience for each child.
