We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in the efficient running of all the College food production, service and supervision of personnel, with an emphasis on wholesome, properly cooked quality meals in a cost-effective manner.
Working as part of a team of 9 you will assist in the day to day running of our kitchen ensuring that standards and quality are maintained. You will need to have a flexible approach, working 39 hours per week (5 days out of 7) on a 3-week rota. Various shift times cover from 6.00am to 7.30pm Monday to Sunday.
You will be working with fresh ingredients, catering for an extensive range of catering needs, from freshly produced school meals to banquets and weddings.
An NVQ level 3 in food preparation and supervision or equivalent is desirable but not essential, training will be provided. You will need to have experience and familiarity of working in a busy kitchen environment.

Salary – £29,872 per annum.
Full time, 39 hours per week, all year round.
