Yes. The College currently seeks support in two main areas:
- Bursaries, to help students whose families may not have the financial means to afford a Ratcliffe education.
- Projects and educational enhancements, such as new facilities, resources, or equipment that enrich the student experience.
You’re welcome to choose one of these areas, or leave your gift unrestricted, allowing us to direct it to where it is most needed at the time.

We recommend you consult a solicitor or legacy advisor when drafting or amending your Will. However, below is some suggested wording that may help:
Residual Gift:
“I give all (or a % share of) the residue of my estate to Ratcliffe College (Charity No. 1115975) of Fosse Way, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Leicester, LE7 4SG to be used for its general charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge.”
Specific Gift:
“I bequeath my (e.g. property, shares, jewellery, works of art, etc.) to Ratcliffe College (Charity No. 1115975) of Fosse Way, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Leicester, LE7 4SG to be used for its general charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge.”
Pecuniary Gift:
