We are seeking a creative, energetic and experienced Digital Content and Marketing Executive to join our ambitious Marketing and Admissions team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented storyteller and content creator to play a key role in shaping and growing the College’s digital presence.
This is a hands-on and varied role based on campus. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to produce high-quality, engaging content across a range of platforms, ensuring it aligns with the College’s Strategic Development Plan. From social media posts, short-form video and digital newsletters, to website updates and printed marketing materials, you will help bring the story of Ratcliffe College to life in creative and engaging ways.
In this role, you will create engaging content that enhances the College’s reputation, strengthens brand awareness and supports student recruitment locally and internationally.
The ideal candidate will have experience in social media marketing and digital content creation, with a strong understanding of current digital trends and audience engagement. You will be confident producing content across multiple formats including video, photography, graphics and written copy.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being actively involved in school life and capturing authentic moments that reflect the spirit and experience of education at the College, from Nursery through to Sixth Form.

We are looking to recruit a qualified nurse to join our Medical Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, providing and maintaining a high standard of care for the physical and emotional health and wellbeing for all students across the Nursery, Preparatory and Senior Schools. You will also be required to support staff and visitors as required.
Working hours:
- approximately 21 hours per week (Monday - Friday) term time, i.e. 34 weeks per annum on a rota basis.
- 4 INSET and student induction days per annum, 8.15am - 4.00pm with 1 hour unpaid break.
- Up to 10 Saturday mornings per year, usually 9.00am - 12.00pm.
- An on-call service overnight and weekends during term time (one-week blocks) to provide guidance, advice and attendance where required.
Salary: £17,711 actual, 0.47 FTE (£37,684 FTE)

About the Role
The successful candidate will work across the Senior and Preparatory Schools, supporting the delivery of our extensive sports programme. Responsibilities will include:
- Co‑curricular support: Assist with activities including the Combined Cadet Force.
- Outdoor Education: Lead sessions such as Mountain Biking with support from the Head of Outdoor Education.
- Pastoral care: Mentor students and contribute to wider pastoral duties.
- Prep School involvement: Support Outdoor Play and Learning in the Preparatory School.
- Lifesaving duties: Train to support swimming provision, with potential to lead if qualified.
- Boarding contribution: Join the boys’ or girls’ boarding house team.
- Summer School leadership: Deliver outdoor activities across summer and half‑term camps.
- Activity development: Help shape and lead outdoor activity programmes.

Ratcliffe College is seeking to appoint a committed, compassionate and highly organised Middle School Lay Chaplain to join our pastoral and chaplaincy team.
This role is to work 37.5 hours per week, term-time plus two additional weeks, providing day-to-day pastoral and spiritual support for pupils in Years 9, 10 and 11. The post is central to our relational pastoral model and plays a key role in ensuring every student is known, supported and able to flourish within our thriving Catholic independent school.

Job Title: Head of Medical Services
Accountable to: Deputy Head Pastoral
Line Manager for: School Nurses and Health Care Assistants
Purpose of the Role
The Head of Medical Services is responsible for leading and managing the provision of medical care and health promotion across the College from Nursery to Sixth Form, including boarding provision. The postholder will be the primary professional adviser to the Deputy Head Pastoral and Director of Safeguarding regarding medical provision, student health and clinical matters within the College.
The postholder will ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and high-quality medical service which promotes the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of students and supports the wider pastoral aims of the College.
The postholder will lead the Medical Department in a manner consistent with the Catholic ethos and Rosminian charism of the College, having due regard to the teachings of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, whilst continuing to meet all relevant professional standards, statutory requirements and safeguarding obligations.
The Head of Medical Services will provide clinical leadership for the Medical Department, oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and work closely with pastoral, safeguarding and boarding teams to ensure outstanding care for students.
