International Summer School 2025

International students may join our Summer School for a minimum of one week, to a maximum of four weeks, departing or arriving every Sunday. With so many activities on offer, we sure hope you will join us this summer for an unforgettable experience.

At Ratcliffe College, students are encouraged from the moment they arrive to speak English, swiftly developing their vocabulary and confidence. With this in mind we recruit a sensible balance of students from a range of nationalities so that they are able to easily integrate with one another through activities on offer.

About

Ratcliffe College International Summer School is an intensive English language programme that has been combined with an exciting range of activities, subject specialist academic lessons and plenty of opportunities for immersive cultural experiences, all taught and delivered by Ratcliffe academic staff.

Throughout the programme, International students develop their English Language skills guided by subject specialist teachers. The programme offers a chance to meet like-minded people from across the globe, sharing their language culture and talents.

Steinway & Sons Grand Piano Masterclass Summer Experience

New to our Summer School 2025 programme - Piano Masterclasses and one-to-one specialist teaching partnered by Steinway & Sons.

Inspiring a love of Music and supported by excellent teaching and professional musicians, this one week course provides a wealth of opportunities for International students who have a passion for music and performance.

Tennis Summer Programme

Students of all abilities and experience can enjoy this programme. This programme allows students to benefit from English Language lessons in the morning, and develop personalised and progressive performance skills in the game of Tennis during the afternoons, using our state-of-the-art Tennis facilities on campus. Students will be taught by qualified Tennis coaches and Ratcliffe Sports staff.

We will provide Tennis equipment, but students are welcome to bring their own racket with them.

Integration with Ratcliffe students

From bonding over shared adventures to diving into a jam-packed schedule of activities, international students attending the Ratcliffe College Summer School have endless opportunities to integrate with Ratcliffe day students, while engaging together in a wider range of afternoon activities.
