Leadership - Ratcliffe College

Leadership

While the Sixth Form has its own distinct identity within the school, Sixth Form students are also role models for the rest of the school and younger pupils. As senior members of the School community, they are encouraged to develop a greater sense of individual and collective responsibility and to take on leadership roles.

In addition to extensive opportunities as Monitors, Prefects, House Captains, Sports Captains, and Subject Ambassadors, students can take on leading roles in Societies, participate in a variety of student-run Councils and Committees, and contribute as members of the Student Listeners’ programme, in which they offer regular academic and pastoral mentoring to younger students in specific subjects or disciplines. By taking on such positions of responsibility, students are able to shape and develop the life of the school, and help and support others.
