Bursary Campaign - Ratcliffe College

Bursary Campaign

As a Catholic school, guided by the values of our founder, Blessed Antonio Rosmini, we are committed to helping talented students from low-income families through our bursary awards. We believe that by offering bursaries, we are living out our mission of “Learning and Growing in the Light of the Gospel”, and empowering students to achieve their greatest potential with Christ at the centre of their learning.

Transforming Lives through Bursaries: Bursaries can be truly transformational, changing the lives of young people and unlocking their greatest potential. Through our bursary strategy, we aim to provide opportunities for students who may not be able to access to a Ratcliffe education under normal circumstances. By offering financial support of up to 90% of a student’s school fee, and in exceptional cases, up to 100%, we are committed to making education accessible to deserving students, regardless of their financial background.

By 2029, our target is to raise £1 million to support 21 students with 100% life-changing student bursaries.

Funding a Bursary

The current annual cost of supporting one day pupil (Years 9 – 13) at Ratcliffe College is just over £19,500. The total required to support one full Sixth Form bursary over two years would therefore be just over £39,000.

The current annual cost of supporting one overseas boarder is just over £38,000. The total required to support one full Sixth Form bursary over two years would therefore be £77,000 and over five years just over £190,000.

All donors will be listed in the annual Ratcliffian Association magazine. Should you wish donations to remain anonymous, please state this within the donation form or in writing.
