When you feel that Ratcliffe College is a strong possible choice for your son or daughter, you are encouraged to register with us. The School experiences high demand for places in many year groups so, early registration is advisable. By registering you are expressing an interest in Ratcliffe College, it does not commit you to accepting a place, nor does it commit the School to the offer of one.
For some of the younger year groups, for example the Nursery, Years 1 and 2, you may wish to contact our Admissions Department to check availability, as some waiting lists may be in operation.
To register, you need to complete our Registration Form by clicking the button above and pay a non-refundable Registration Fee of £99 (UK) or £125 (Overseas).
You can register your son or daughter at any age on the understanding that completion of the Registration Form and payment of the fee does not constitute a binding contract for admission to Ratcliffe College.
The Registration Form should be signed by both parents. If only one signature is provided, then a formal letter should also accompany the form stating sole custody. The School reserves the right to refuse entrance based on any aspect of the Admissions process.
Once the Registration Form and fee has been received, our Admissions Department will contact your child’s current school for a reference. This reference will be considered alongside the results of their Examinations or Assessment.
Please inform the Admissions Department of any change of address, telephone number or email address, to promote effective communication between us.
Offers of places are always subject to availability and the admission requirements of the School, at the time offers are made. A copy of the current edition of the standard terms and conditions can be supplied upon request.
The following criteria are used, in no particular order, to help determine a student’s suitability for admission:
The Headmaster, in consultation with the Board of Governors, is responsible for all decisions relating to the admission of students. If there is a waiting list for entry to a particular age group, applicants will be considered strictly according to the fulfilment of the criteria and to the date order of registration for each child. All formal offers of places will be made in writing, either by the Headmaster or by the Registrar acting on his behalf.
