In year 9, all students studied for their European Computer Digital Literacy (or “driving licence”) GCSE. This Level 2 qualification shows proficiency in the use of standard Office software and is an industry-recognised qualification. ECDL builds on a learner’s basic knowledge and experience to improve their understanding of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software.
On Friday 17th November, the successful students received their GCSE awards certificates from Mr Reddin and Mr Jones in a ceremony held in the Old Library. Students were as pleased to receive the certificates, as well as the pain-au-chocolat, in recognition of all the hard work they put in to secure their success. Well done to all.
