Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a full time (35 weeks per annum) Learning Support Assistant, ideally a Maths specialist, to join our small and friendly Learning Support Department from 17th April 2023. The Learning Support Assistant will be required to support the teaching of literacy skills at Key Stage 3 and 4.

A Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is welcomed but not essential.

The Learning Support Assistant will provide:

• Support for students to include support for groups and individual students, as directed by the SENCO/class teacher
• Support for teachers to include: within an agreed system of supervision, work with the teacher to develop lessons, work plans and the classroom environment

This post attracts an annual salary of £17,082 including 5.6 weeks holiday pay, per annum. Other benefits include:
