The Emery Library, located in the heart of the College is an invaluable learning space for Ratcliffe students and a creative teaching space for many of our practitioners. With help from donors, we would like to transform this traditional Library setting into a purpose-built educational hub, benefitting from contemporary furniture, reading booths and modern-edge technology to help our students thrive and excel in their studies for years to come.

The importance of reading is paramount to every students’ education at Ratcliffe. Reading widens vocabulary and develops a student’s breadth of general and cultural knowledge, with improved comprehension and analysis skills in all subjects of the curriculum. With a new, inspiring and creative working space for our students, we can continue to support their educational journey, while embedding a natural reading culture across the College.
