Tennis - Ratcliffe College

Tennis is played by both boys and girls in the summer term.

Girls play tennis in extra-curricular practices as well as in games afternoons.  Boys play tennis in their PE lessons and extra-curricular practices.

Our programme of tennis supports county ranked players; as well as beginners, focusing on enjoyment, participation, tactical awareness and skill development.

We have enjoyed great success in tennis, taking part in mid- week fixture which include Saturday fixtures and the AEGON league; where both our boys and girls have enjoyed success.   Our U15 girls team were winners of the AEGON league in 2016 and were unbeaten that season, and our U13 boys were winners of the AEGON league in 2017.  This year, the U13 girls were entered for the first time into the league and finished the season unbeaten.

We aspire for success at national level and our 1st team enter the national Aberdare Cup.
